They convince you into staying with them, and that you are the problem. They make you believe they are the best thing ever for you when in fact they are terrible.
But no more of those. You need to start to open yourself to the seemingly soft; boring; meh; consistent; silent and calm things. No more over the top professions of love and romance. No more intense, erratic, and on and off passion. Give you someone who is calm and kind. Someone honest and dependable. Who sometimes might not know how to express his love but doesn’t give you a reason to doubt his intentions. Give you milk and coffee over a dozen roses any day.
